Adapting Your Motorcycle

With mile after mile of highway unfolding across some of the world's most beautiful landscapes, nothing beats the way seeing America with no glass or barriers in between you and the scenery. Unfortunately, not all bikes are equally equipped for serious touring. A cafe racer is light, quick, and fun, but it might not be too comfortable for hours of continuous driving. Harley-Davidson® developed three touring packages that are compatible with the Glide line of motorcycles to create the ultimate touring experience, combining power, comfort, and style.

Reaper Touring Package

The Reaper Touring Package is a well-rounded kit in terms of performance and comfort upgrades, and it also adds a jolt of distinct style to the mix to make a bike that's uniquely Harley-Davidson®. This bike has a dark thanks to its many blacked-out and anodized parts, including hand grips and footboards from the Defiance Collection. On the performance side, the kit includes a new Screamin' Eagle Pro Street® Tuner, a Heavy Breather Performance Air Cleaner, and a Street® Cannon Performance Muffler. Together, these parts optimize the bike's fuel efficiency and add some major horsepower to the mix, too. The short passenger backrest and detachable sissy bar provide more stability for your passenger. Electra Glo™ LED Saddlebag running lights make your bike stand out from the crowd, as do the upgraded brake and turning lights and LED-lit license plate holder.

Vengeance Essentials Package

A little style and comfort goes a long way when you're touring, which makes the Vengeance Essentials Package a must-have. Like the Reaper Package, the Vengeance Essentials kit comes with a detachable sissy bar. There's also a Stealth Harley-Davidson® luggage rack and a rider backrest organizer kit. The Vengeance Essentials kit also features a Boom! Audio hidden AM/FM/WB radio so you'll always have tunes. Up front, CoolFlow fans blast away hot air on summer days, while Electra Glo LED saddlebag running lights add a personal touch.

Vengeance Performance Package

The final package adds a big scoop of all three categories: power, comfort and style. It starts with the engine. The performance upgrades include a Milwaukee-Eight Stage II Torque Kit, Screamin' Eagle Pro Street® Tuner, Heavy Breather Performance Air Cleaner, and Street® Cannon Performance Muffler, all of which work together to take the engine to a whole new level of power and fuel efficiency. To make the ride smoother, there is a set of mid-frame air deflector. Backrests and a CoolFlow fan system make the ride more comfortable.
